A small island, a moving sea

Built around the shoreline.

An FFT ocean meets a beach that holds footprints, darkens under swash, and dries as the water recedes. Above it, clouds fill a volumetric sky.

Compare calm water and rough seas, then move closer to the sand or watch the light change. These controls select recorded views. The sailing simulation runs in Godot’s desktop renderer.

The boat now moves the water.

Hull pressure makes crests and troughs. Waves move nearby buoys.

Immersion, heading, and water-relative speed shape the wake. Foam spreads and fades behind the boat.

The boat and its moving sail reflect at the waterline. Water stays sharper during camera pans.

A widening foam trail follows the sailboat through gentle water at four knots.
